My wife Janet and I first visited Norway in September, 2013. Our excursion to Norway was much more than a sightseeing adventure. Norway draws you in far more deeply than that. I think that would be true for us even if Janet's ancestors didn't come from there.

We found the people to be kind and friendly, and the vistas to be amazing. Seeing family we had never met before was gratifying, to say the least.

It's hard to not fall in love with a place like Norway. If you've been there, you already know that to be true. If you haven't, it's worth experiencing for yourself. You don't need to have Norwegian ancestry to feel how your heart and soul are drawn in by the country and people.
