Past "Foot in the Door" exhibitions  - which only occur every ten years - have had as many as 4,000 entries, so it's a little hard to stand out from the crowd. All the same, I feel privileged to have a piece accepted. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the exhibition is virtual this year.

I chose to submit one of my black-and-white photographs, entitled, "Serpentinium", from a series of film photographs I produced where I developed the film in coffee.
